You're treed in the dark. Find the coon's gold eyes up the tree and get the judge to see him — plus 'em up!

🦝 Gold eyes = coon → plus 'em up! Red, green, or one big eye = possum, cat, owl — leave 'em (minus if you call). A bare leafless tree = slick. Leafy but can't find him = circle 'em up.
🌙 The Full Hunt — a real cast
You draw out with three Top-100 legends. Every drop is the whole cadence — and they're scoring against you the whole night.
① CUT — hit READY, then cut 'em on the judge's call
② TRACK — steer the scent; when YOUR dog opens, STRIKE him in (first strike = 100)
③ THE READ — listen to his locate & watch the meter. TREE HIM (first tree = 125) or LAY OFF
④ SHINE — show the judge the coon: plus the tree. Slick tree = minus. Can't see him = circle
🐕 A bawl mouth is easy to read. A chop mouth strikes fast but the read is a gamble. Most points after 3 drops wins the cast — cast wins earn your NITECH.
